The religion of Ancient Rome.

Before Christianity, Rome devised a polytheistic religion of nature. If placed on a timeline, this would have been developing for decades archaic before the legendary founding of Rome, located by tradition in the year 753. The first Roman gods were tailored to the needs of Rome, according to a series of legends, the first god was Saturn, who arrived in the Capitol Hill and taught the Latin culture of the land. But not only was a deity of the time, as were other Pamona, Pale, Janus and fauna.
      
Archaic mythology just when the reign of the second king of Rome beginning, this was Numa Pompilos, which generally trade development of the city, so it was that came in contact with the Greeks in the south, taking part of their culture. To propagate his religion, wider and Greek character, founded on top of the Capitol the first Pantheon, dedicated to Jupiter, Juno, Minerva and Saturn. Despite the recent incorporation of these gods, ancient aboriginal character of the city of Rome did not disappear, but mingled and Hellenized Rome under development.

The Art of Ancient Rome.

Roman art has its roots in various influences, especially the Etruscan and Greek. No doubt that Roman art is the most significant artistic manifestation of Western world history, as its influence has never ceased to perceive over the centuries since its demise in Europe. There have been historical moment (perhaps the Gothic art and architecture is the farthest from the Roman Canon) has not suffered to a greater or lesser extent its influence. The Roman Art has its principal manifestation in architecture, both religious and civil. but other manifestations of first order are its magnificent sculpture and painting to a lesser extent.                                                                               

Zeus, the god of sky and thunder.

        In Greek mythology, Zeus is the father of gods and men, who ruled the gods of Mount Olympus as a father to a family, so that even those who were not their natural children addressed him as such. He was the King of the Gods that oversaw the universe. He was the god of sky and thunder.
  •    Son of Cronus and Rhea, was the youngest of their offspring. In most traditions he was married to Hera, although at the oracle of Dodona was his wife Dione, who according to the Iliad was the father of Aphrodite. He is known for his many adventures and lovers, the result of which there were many gods and heroes, including Athena, Apollo and Artemis.
